For buyers

How do I buy a work on Art For Us?

Art For Us isn't a checkout-based shop. You send an inquiry about the work you're interested in, the seller replies directly, and the price, payment and pickup or shipping are worked out between the two of you, off the platform.

Do I need an account to send an inquiry?

Not to browse, but yes to send an inquiry — you need to create an account and confirm your email address. That way the seller knows who to reply to, and ratings make sense later on.

Who handles payment and shipping?

You — the buyer and seller, directly. Art For Us doesn't process payments or arrange shipping; the platform is just where you find each other and work things out. Some sellers leave a rough shipping-cost estimate on their profile, but the final arrangement is always between you two.

How do I know I can trust a seller?

The "Verified seller" badge means the seller voluntarily confirmed their identity — it's optional, but an extra trust signal. After a purchase is completed, buyers and sellers rate each other, so a profile shows real experience from past buyers over time.

Can I buy from abroad, outside the region?

Yes. Art For Us is available in Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and English, prices are shown in euros, dinars or convertible marks, and you can send an inquiry to any seller no matter where you're from — arranging international shipping is then a direct conversation with the seller.

How does rating work after a purchase?

Once the seller confirms the sale is complete, both sides get to leave a rating, within 90 days of that confirmation. If the seller never confirms, the system unlocks rating automatically after 14 days, so it doesn't depend solely on them.

What if I have a problem with a seller or a work I bought?

Since the platform isn't part of the purchase itself, the first step is always to sort it out directly with the seller. If a listing is inappropriate, fake, or breaks the platform's rules, there's a report button on the listing and seller-profile pages — our team reviews every report.

For sellers

How do I start selling on Art For Us?

Create an account, choose "Become a seller", fill in your profile (including your country — required, it drives currency and billing) and add your first work. Published works go through moderation before they become publicly visible.

Does Art For Us take a commission on sales?

No. The platform only charges a yearly subscription for publishing works — the money for the work itself goes straight to you; the buyer pays you personally, off the platform.

How many works can I publish for free?

A free account keeps one active work listed. For more, you need a paid plan — details and prices are on the Pricing page.

How long is the free trial?

For independent creators: if you create a seller account before the end of 2026, the trial lasts 6 months from when the account was created; after that (and for any account opened later), the trial is 3 months. "Publisher / Gallery" accounts have a different, shorter rule — see the Pricing page for details.

Do I have to verify my identity to sell?

No, verification is optional. Without it you can still publish and sell works normally — verification only adds the "Verified seller" badge to your profile, as an extra trust signal for buyers.

Who handles payment and shipping for what I sell?

You do, directly with the buyer. Art For Us doesn't process payments or ship packages — you can leave a rough note on your profile about the expected shipping cost (local, regional, international) so the buyer knows what to expect upfront.

How do I confirm a sale is complete?

In your dashboard's inquiry view, click "Confirm purchase completed" once the deal with the buyer has actually happened. That unlocks rating for both sides. If you don't, the system unlocks it automatically after 14 days.

I sell on behalf of several artists (gallery or publisher) — can I record that?

Yes. A "Publisher / Gallery" account has its own "Creators we represent" list. Every work you publish — by hand or via CSV import for larger catalogues — can carry the actual author's name, and if that artist is also on the platform and accepts the representation, their name on the work links to their profile.

About the platform

What is Art For Us?

A regional platform for paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, design, crafts and books — artists and publishers list and sell them directly to buyers, with no middleman in the sale itself. We make the connection, you work out the details.

Is Art For Us responsible for the goods sellers offer?

No. The platform lets buyers and sellers find each other and get in touch, but it doesn't take part in the sale, payment or delivery itself, and doesn't guarantee the quality, authenticity or origin of a work. Responsibility lies with the seller offering it.

Which languages and currencies are supported?

The site works in Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and English; prices are shown in euros, Serbian dinars or convertible marks, depending on where the seller sells from or what you pick in the currency switcher.

How do I report an inappropriate listing, content or user?

There's a report button on every listing and profile page — we review every report. For a copyright issue, there's a dedicated form on the "Copyright infringement notice" page.

I have a different question — how do I reach you?

Via the Contact page: pick a topic (general question, account & subscription, partnership, technical issue or something else) and send us a message — we reply to the email you leave.
